Magic Stage Effects is a small Special Effects Company started in our founders Garage. Jesse began building small effects for local community theaters and realized that there was a need for a local special effects company.
We Fabricate special effects of all types and sizes. We can make candles controllable through your light board, motorize set wagons, make books jump off of shelves, furniture fly across stage, we do electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. We have a complete fabrication shop where we can weld, wire, plumb, and perfect your effects.
We offer affordable special effects, tailor made for your production. We will come to your site to review your needs. Once we design and build your effect, we will install it and train you and your operators. We understand your budget requirements and can build to suit. We can fabricate almost any effect you desire. We do small effects and big. We work with pneumatics, hydraulics, servos and motors, wood, steel, aluminum, & plastic. When needed, our devices are equipped with safety enables and E-Stop circuits. Whatever you need, we can make it.
Every effect we build comes with documentation and FREE phone support. We offer onsite training for free with your custom effect
In many cases installation is included with your effect, and when we install the effect, we will train you and your operators how to safely and properly use the equipment and how to maintain it.
We can provide maintenance services for your equipment, even if we didnt make it!
We can repair almost any type of scenic pieces, props, or equipment.
If all you need is practicals, we do that too! We do all our own electrical and we do it in a way that it is safe for your actors and stagehands and is not going to present a fire hazard.
We rent many types of special effects equipment. We have Hazers, Fog Machines, Low-Lying Fog Machines, Confetti Cannons, Scent Machines, Fans, Snow Machines, Rain Machines, and much more.
